How come the new connecting passages on the new subways called "gangway"s? :s
I like Scheme 1 colours.

I have no idea why they call it a gangway-- I looked up the term on Google, and it refers to temporary passageways-- which is not true for this case.
I like calling it accordions-- remember those articulated buses?
