Ok it worked so I'll now write my comment.

What a pooey article! The 196 DOES have long line ups but the friggin bus seems to come every 5 mins. The 60 to Finch station, now THAT has long ass line ups and it comes way less often than the 196 and it's just as sardine-can-like inside during peak hours. I used to have to wait forever when I took the bus in 1st yr and was leaving around 3-7pm (2nd year onward, I discovered the awesomeness of the Go bus to avoid lineups). I should write in to the Star and rant about the 60 bus now, since the 196 got its turn.
