TTC's St. Clair plan is good - in theory

Christopher Hume whines, yet again, in his column. What bugs me the most is that he never provides a definitive response to combat his concerns.

So RoW is supposed to make streetcars more reliable, not faster. But I think it does neither.

I don't like how they use spadina has an example of how RoW made streetcars run better because spadina streetcars have significant issues with reliability. Sometimes there's no streetcar from college all the way down to front. And on the opposite direction you see like 8 streetcars back to back and of course the ones near the end are completely empty. That's how bunched up streetcars are.

although this has nothing to do with RoW, the spadina streetcars break down all the time and hold up the entire line. Every so often I look out the window and a whole pile of streetcars get stuck and they have to send buses.

If I see this happen so many times around college/spadina, I can't imagine how often this happens along the entire line.
